Next (time around)

Liz: You can see things before they happen?…
Cris Johnson: Only my future… except with you. I saw far beyond anything I’d ever seen before. You need to get away from here…
See, I had my fair share of intuition, clairvoyance or whatever you call it. I got this quote in my head 2 minutes before I searched the net for it. Okay, the two-minute thing, I made up, the rest is as real as you can imagine (wink wink). Seriously, I can only think of one thing after seeing Cage doing his hoolabaloo thingy. Router router router! No particular brand that is and Biel, well she’s the babe! Rather the Range Expander Babe. Dig that!
Revolution Studio is known for their innovation and stirring-up norms. I do agree with that. With Next on their line-up of films, I guess the “slight innovation” is playing with cinematricks (Blue screen, multiplicity etc.) . I love it! The whole jump from one scene to another and to another in a twisting whirlwind way is sooo not new at all. As some may call it, at the end of the day, its all a mind job all together. Oh by the way, didn’t I hear that before “not knowing the future gives hope for it.” Oops! Its Jean Grey (X-Men the animated series) talking. What a total spin-off.
I see some goodies though, Julienne Moore is stunning. She’s really in tune of her character, feisty and determined. The film was spared with too much mediocrity with her around. Jessica’s acting was not that bad after all. I just cant take her off the 7th Heaven genre were she starred first. As for Cage a.k.a. Johnny Blaze, Ben Gates, Castor Troy, Memphis Raines et. al., do something with that receding hairline! You’re a fine and bankable actor already. No need to re-iterate that. Chill!
